John Bradshaw - Don't Let Anyone Take Your Crown
In the letters to the seven churches, Jesus says to the church of Philadelphia, "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown," Revelation 3:11.
Hold fast that no one may take your crown. Well, can someone take your crown of victory? No, that's on you but very definitely yes, that person who smiles at you from across the room isn't flirting; they try to take your crown. Someone offers to cut you in on a dishonest deal, that's an attempt to take your crown, something pops up on your computer screen you shouldn't look at, that's the devil trying to take your crown.
You need to see temptation for what it is, it's not merely swerving onto unsafe ground, it's an out-and-out attempt to separate you from salvation, don't be fooled, and don't let anybody take your crown. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
