John Bradshaw - The Impostor
You can imagine the parent's great sadness when their teenage son went missing on his way home from school in Northern India. When a 21-year-old man showed up four and a half years later claiming to be the missing boy, the father, a wealthy landlord, was overjoyed.
Some people had serious doubts, and it turned out they were right; the man who for 40 years posed as the missing son was an imposter and was ultimately sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment.
There's another imposter, and he's coming for you. Paul wrote that, "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light", in 2 Corinthians. Sometimes he poses as a friend, a significant other, sometimes as a teacher, and sometimes even a preacher. When someone or something leads you away from the word of God, you're dealing with an imposter; God is the God of truth, don't be led astray. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
