John Bradshaw - Worth the Wait
Have you ever had to wait, and by wait, I mean really wait? A child is sick, and the sickness lingers; you're out of work, you can't find a job anywhere; you're single, it seems like God isn't bringing anyone along.
In John 9, we read of a man who was blind from birth, who was miraculously healed by Jesus. We don't know how long he'd been blind, but evidently sometime, as he was a young man.
There was a woman healed after suffering an infirmity for 18 years, that's a long time to wait. But neither individual gave up hope, and they never gave up on God.
Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength". Answered prayer may take a while, maybe until the earth made new, if you have to wait, wait. In faith it'll be well worth it. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
