John Bradshaw - An Evil World
You might think the world is a tough place today, but two thousand years ago, the Bible writers thought the same thing. In Galatians 1, Paul wrote that Jesus, "Might deliver us from this present evil world (or evil age)".
If you thought the man in the apartment next door was evil, you wouldn't let them in your home; if your friend's dog was evil, you'd keep your distance when you visited. There's a lot to like about our home planet, but it's important to keep in mind that it's an evil place. Sinners everywhere, inducements to sin, same thing.
If you work with someone who was evil, which is a strong word I know, you might not quit your job, but you'd be very definitely alert, and that's how we ought to be today.
