John Bradshaw - Empty Chairs
There's a heart-rending memorial in Oklahoma City; in 1995, 168 innocent people tragically lost their lives in a senseless attack on a federal building. Among the memorials on the site, today is the field of empty chairs, 168 chairs arranged to represent each lost life, among them smaller chairs representing the children killed; it's very powerful, each chair, a person lost.
Now imagine Heaven, I don't know that they'll be empty chairs, but God will carry with him throughout eternity a sense of the loss he endured because of the work of the original terrorist. God has lost enough already, and he doesn't want to lose you; Luke 19:10 says, "For the son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost".
Let God have what he wants, he wants your heart, those who choose against God will be missed by God forever. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
