John Bradshaw - Service
This is thought-provoking. Ask yourself: why you're on this earth? What you're hoping to accomplish with your life, the impact you'd like to make on those around you? And then consider what Jesus said in Luke 22:27. He said, "I am among you as one who serves".
Think about that. The one who hung the stars in space, put the rainbow in the sky, the birds in the air, the one who could stretch five loaves and two fish to feed thousands of people, who empowered a shepherd boy to triumph over a giant, and an army of just 300 to defeat a multitude. That one said: he was here as one who serves.
So why are you here? Service! Service to God, and service to others! Who can you serve today? How can you be of service? Answer that question, and you've added meaning to your life. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written. Let's live today by every word.
