Listen, the fear of God is Jesus’s delight; the fear of God is God’s treasure. How do we receive the fear of God? It is one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit of God. Congratulations, you have finished the journey; you’ve made it to the end of the book, and as you can see, the fear of God is so important, especially in the days we are living in right now. I just want to dive a tad deeper. Let’s look at Psalm 112, because I said there are over 40 distinct promises; I didn’t even list them all in the book. But let’s look at these 10 really quick.
Psalm 112 says that if we fear God, we will have successful children.
The person who fears God will have wealth, and remember, wealth is your ability to impact other people’s lives.
The good things you do, they’re going to last forever. I love that.
Number four, you will not be overcome by evil.
Number five, you will be long remembered.
Number six, you will not fear bad news, and I’m telling you that’s really important in this day and hour.
Number seven, you will be confident.
Number eight, you will be fearless.
Number nine, you will have influence.
And number ten, you will be a person of dignity.
All of that is found in just one psalm, Psalm 112. Another psalm I want you to read, which I think is so important, is Psalm 128, which talks about the blessings of the person who fears God, how your family will be filled with joy and will sit around your table enjoying life with you. Listen, the fear of God is Jesus’s delight; the fear of God is God’s treasure. How do we receive the fear of God? It is one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus said if we ask our Father for the Holy Spirit, He will give Him to us. I ask God to freshly baptize me in the holy fear of God almost every single day. I want to pray that for you right now; I want to pray that the spirit of holy fear comes upon your life.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for my brother and my sister. They have journeyed through Your word, Lord God, Your message, all these scriptures that were systematically put together in these 42 chapters. They’re hungry; they want to know You intimately. So, Father, in Jesus’s name, You said if we ask for the Holy Spirit, You would give Him. I ask that You would baptize and fill my brother and sister Aresh with Your spirit of holy fear. May the spirit of wisdom come upon them; may the spirit of knowledge, the spirit of understanding, the spirit of might, and the spirit of counsel, and most of all, the spirit of the holy fear of God, come upon their lives now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. May He protect you; may He guide you; may He strengthen you; may He teach you; and may His promises be established in your life and in your family. And it’s in the name of Jesus we pray, and Father, we give You all the glory and honor in Jesus’s mighty name. Amen.
It’s been absolutely wonderful journeying with you through this message. I believe with all of my heart you will see a noticeable change in your life; your family will see a noticeable change. I want to encourage you to read the book over and over again. I want to encourage you to please get the course, choose some friends, and go through the entire course together. That course was put together to help you strengthen this message in your life. I will tell you, it is the most significant thing, other than being saved and filled with God’s Spirit. The most significant thing God has ever done in my life is introduce me to the holy fear of God. The love of God and the fear of God are inseparable; they go hand in hand. I know you’ve seen it now. Go and walk in the holy fear and the holy love of God.
