Proverbs says, I’m going to put the scripture up. Proverbs says there is a way; now look at these words: there is a way, there is a way that seems right. It seems good, it seems beneficial, it seems desirable, it seems pleasant, it seems fruitful. There is a way that seems good to a man, but its end, where it will take you, your destination, will be detrimental; it will be the way of death. You know, I ignored that scripture for years because I thought, «Hey, I’m in the way of life.» But then I discovered God said to His own people, through the prophet Jeremiah, «Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.» So look at that scripture again: there is a way that seems good. All of a sudden, I realized the way that ends up in death looks good.
