So let me tell you something: now more than ever, you better know what the word of God says. Now more than ever, we better love people the way Jesus loves people because, let me tell you, you can run people off so fast if you’re not patient with them, kind to them, and caring about them. But we don’t love the sin they’re in bondage to. Jesus paid a high price. When Pastor Jim showed that picture of Jesus on the cross last night, my heart was breaking. I think of my Creator shedding His blood and being beaten so badly that you couldn’t even tell He was a man anymore, and then we pervert His ways like this.
I’m talking about people who call themselves His followers, saying on social media over and over again, «Love wins. I’m a Christian.» You should have seen the comments I got. I’ve had over 750,000 responses. Let me tell you something: there are some people really mad at me right now, but you know what? I don’t care. I love God. You know what? Because there are so many people out there who are in bondage to sin, and they don’t pretend to know God; they really don’t know God. But then these people who call themselves Christians, living in the world, loving the world, enjoying the world and having their heaven too, are confusing the heck out of these people who are in bondage. If you’re going to serve God, serve God so that the world can see Jesus.
