And all of a sudden, I realized how much Jesus talked about deception in the last days, and I’m thinking in that room, how can we ignore this? I mean, just four times in one chapter alone, they said what it is going to be like right before He returns, and He goes, «Deception, deception, deception» four times. He even goes on to the point where He says, «Even the elect,» that’s right, if it’s possible, even the elect will be deceived. That’s Christians, that’s right, amen. I’m looking at Paul talking about deception in the days right before Jesus' return. Peter, Jude, and Paul talk about people falling away from the faith because of deception. And all of a sudden, I’m sitting in that hotel room in Sweden, thinking, oh my goodness, it’s not going to be blatant evil that deceives, if possible, the elect; it’s going to be evil that is masked with good.
