Dutch Sheets - We Have the Keys and We Will Use Them (01/19/2026)

Hello, Dutch Sheets here. Welcome to today’s version of «Give Him 15» as we pray for America on Monday, November 30th. By the way, we had a great prayer time in Las Vegas, Nevada last night, and we will be in Santa Fe, New Mexico tonight, praying for that state. Today’s «Give Him 15» is entitled «We Have the Keys and We Will Use Them.»
Recap of the First Dream
In a «Give Him 15» post on November 19th, I recounted a dream in which Thomas Paine—one of the leaders of the Revolutionary War era movement—was at the headwaters of the Allegheny River. He threw a football to me. I know dreams are strange, and I’m not implying for those of you who worry about these things that Thomas Paine literally came to me. The Lord was using him symbolically. In the dream, he threw me a football. I caught it and saw the word «Triumph» written on it. I then set the football in a nearby stream that becomes a river eventually reaching Washington, D.C.
In the dream, I knew something would be released from inside the football once it arrived in D.C., but the dream didn’t show what this was.
The Follow-Up Dream
The same person later had a subsequent dream showing what happened once the football reached D.C. She was standing by the Potomac River and saw an object floating down the water. It hit a large rock and exploded. Something flew out of it, through the air, all the way to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. She immediately went there to see what it was.
The object was an old silver key. Written on the key was the word «Triumph, » the same word that had been on the football. That’s when she realized the object she’d seen floating in the river was the football I had placed in the water at the headwaters of the Allegheny. This was actually part two of that dream. When she saw the key, her immediate thought was, «Of course it’s a key.» The verse the Lord frequently uses to speak to me is Isaiah 22:22: «I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.»
The Biblical Meaning of the Keys
This is fulfilled in Matthew 16 when Jesus told Peter—and all of us—“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.» Obviously, this is not just my verse; it’s our verse. We have the keys. We have the keys of authority. Jesus is not going to descend from heaven now and speak into our situation; He will tell us what to say, and we are to speak it. That is how delegated authority works.
We are seated at the Father’s right hand in Christ, and He has given us His authority. What Christ the Head does, He does through His Body. That’s us. We are His hands, His feet, and His mouth—His voice. When we speak for Him, it carries His authority. If we speak from our own will, that authority is absent. But when we decree His will, it carries the same power and effectiveness as when He says it.
The Key Activates and Messages from God
Returning to the dream: she picked up the key and looked at it. Then it began to glow. Suddenly her phone dinged, indicating a message.
The message read, «I am not late.» The scene changed, and she found herself on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. Looking down, she saw the Triumph key again. Once more it began to glow, and her phone dinged a second time. This time the message, in all capital letters, said: «I AM NOT LATE.» What a great dream. I am not in denial; I know we need a miracle. I realize what is stacked against us. We are up against a giant. But I also know we can use the keys of the Kingdom, and the giants can be defeated. Use your keys—the authority He has given us—and join me in this battle. We can triumph. God is not late.
Scripture Reference
Matthew 16:19 says, «I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven; whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.»
Prayer Guidance
Some thoughts as you pray today: declare that we will use the keys of the Kingdom to do our part in this battle for America. Proclaim that God’s purposes for America will come to pass. Close the door to the enemy’s godless, humanistic, and globalist plans for this nation.
Intercede for the salvation of those opposing the Lord. That is important—we do not hate these people. Our battle is not with flesh and blood. We love everyone; intercede for their salvation. Most truly don’t understand what they are doing or how the enemy is using them. Declare that Christ’s keys will be used by the Ekklesia to uncover, expose, uproot, and remove every plan against America. Declare that we will use those keys to secure the future God has planned for this nation. Use them.
Corporate Prayer
Here is the prayer we will pray together now: Lord, we must do our part in this battle for America. We know You brought us to this battle, which is all about You and Your Kingdom purposes in the earth. This is so much bigger than America. It is about the great harvest coming to the planet. It is about Your plans to use America in this hour to accomplish Your purposes worldwide. It is about resisting those who do not want Your influence in our nation.
But Lord, we say we will not allow this. We pray for them to be saved and come to know You. Nevertheless, in Christ’s name, we insist that these ungodly things taking place in our nation give way to Your will. We know we must use the keys of the Kingdom You have given us. We must bind and loose. We must open our mouths and proclaim Your will. We must open doors and close doors. If we do our part, then those working in the natural to uncover and unravel this election mess can do theirs.
They will see what they need to see, find what they need to find, and bring to justice everything that is currently out of order. We are going to see evil exposed and the reversing of what took place on election night. We ask You to give our nation the victory You planned for us to have that night. We pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
Today’s Decree
And our decree today is: God is not late. We will use His Kingdom keys to proclaim His will, and this election will not be over until He says it is over. Amen.
