This Give Him 15 post presents a unique legal-style «Appeal to Heaven» drafted by attorneys, modeled exactly like a court appeal but addressed to the Supreme Court of God, petitioning Him based on the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14. The appeal humbly confesses national and church sins—including breaking covenants with God, defiling His image in gender and marriage, shedding innocent blood of Native Americans, African slaves, and unborn children—while fulfilling the conditions of humility, prayer, seeking God’s face, and turning from wicked ways. The ultimate request is for God to hear the appeal, forgive sins, heal America, stop the enemy’s plans to kill, steal, and destroy, and ensure the 2020 election results align with His will by re-electing Donald J. Trump with supportive congressional majorities.
Introduction and Importance
Hello and welcome to Give Him 15 for Wednesday, December 2nd. We have something quite unusual to present to you today, and something that I feel is extremely important. It’s actually—well, let me just read the opening paragraph. «Today’s Give Him 15 is somewhat different and a little longer than usual. A team of attorneys led by Philip Jauregui has prepared a legal appeal for us to use as we petition God to heal and restore America. This is written exactly in the same language, format, etc., as a court appeal would be written. We are asking you today to read it aloud.»
I’m going to read it aloud. It’s going to take maybe a few more minutes than usual—maybe 12 to 15 minutes—but I want you to read it aloud. Print it if you have the capabilities of doing so, and sign the last page as an affiliate of the co-counsel. Perhaps it would be appropriate to read it for several days during your devotions in prayer time. And by all means, please pass this on—send it to your friends and family members. Here’s what it looks like in the format that they have given it, in which will be the formal way it would appear in a case. Mine is in an easier-to-read format, but you’ll want to print it as it appears here.
The Appeal Header
It says: «In the Supreme Court of the God of the Universe. The people of God who are called by His name present this"—I’m going to paraphrase once in a while; I’m going to read most of it. Then it says: «An Appeal to Heaven.» That’s the title of it. «Appeal by right based on the premises below for the court to hear this case, forgive our sin, heal our land, and grant such other requested relief.» That it has my name and, uh, some legal terms.
And then it says: «The people of God who are called by His name, in their individual and joint capacities, who submit this Appeal to Heaven in the Supreme Court of the God, Judge, and Creator of the universe, and respectfully request that You enter an order to hear this appeal from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal these United States of America by: a. enjoining the appellees from any further action to kill, steal, and/or destroy Your will for these United States of America; and b. enjoining that the earthly result of the pending elections for the United States of America’s President, Senate, and House of Representatives be accomplished now on earth in accordance with Your divine kingdom and will in heaven, namely that Donald J. Trump be re-elected President of these United States with sufficient supporting numbers in both houses of Congress for Your will to be accomplished in and for this nation.»
Basis in Scripture
Number one: «Your word promises in II Chronicles 7:14 that You will grant relief in the form of a hearing, forgiveness, and healing of our land. These three promises of relief are hereafter referred to as 'relief' on the absolute condition that we, Your people, humble ourselves, petition You with specificity and prayer, seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways. And these four absolute conditions are hereafter referred to as 'conditions.'»
Our Humiliation
Then he breaks the appeal down into sections. The first one being: «Our Humiliation. If you humble yourselves and pray, we have been arrogant in that we have attempted to seek Your relief without fulfilling all four of our conditions. We have arrogantly treated the conditions as multiple choice, have omitted some of the four conditions, and yet sought relief when it was not due. We repent of our pride before this most honorable court. Our present circumstance in this nation is utterly desperate, and therefore we cannot help but be rightly humbled. Our humility is deserved due to our sin.»
Our Prayer
And the next section: «Our Prayer. Therefore, we pray for mercy and grace and specific relief. a. Our deeds deserve punishment, but instead we pray for mercy that You would not punish us according to our sinful deeds. b. Our deeds do not position us to deserve the requested relief, and therefore we pray for grace from Your throne. And c. We boldly and humbly ask that You grant the below requested prayer for relief.»
Our Seeking of Your Face
And then the next section is: «Our Seeking of Your Face. In the past, we have presumptuously sought Your hand of protection and/or Your hand of blessing without first seeking Your face. We repent of this presumptuous act and resolve now to seek only Your face. Your face represents Your presence. We affirm that Your face and presence bring protection and blessing, and we receive those as the result of, rather than the object of, our consuming desire to seek Your face.»
Our Turning from Our Wicked Ways
And the next section: «Our Turning from Our Wicked Ways. Wickedness is real and is defined solely by You. Wickedness is not defined by the appellees. We confess that in the past we have been embarrassed by Your holy definitions of wickedness and have wickedly feared mere men more than You. We have acquiesced to or affirmed the world’s unholy definitions of wickedness and denied—both through assent and silence—Your holy definitions of wickedness. Therefore, we turn from all our wicked ways as defined by You, including the following.»
Breach of National Relationship with God
First of all, our wicked way: «The Breach of Our National Relationship with You. In 1607, the first official act by the English in the New World was declared by the Reverend Robert Hunt at Cape Henry, Virginia, who said—and I quote—'From these very shores the gospel shall go forth to not only this New World but the entire world.' In 1620, Christian pilgrims declared the Mayflower Compact outside of Plymouth, Massachusetts, as a civil government covenant: quote, 'for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith, ' end quote. In 1776, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, our present United States of America were born in submission to You as we acknowledged that the role of civil government is not to create rights but to recognize and secure the rights already embedded in creation by You: quote, 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness—that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, ' end quote. Throughout our history as a nation, we have governmentally declared from Washington, D.C., that we trust in You—'In God We Trust'—and that we are a nation under You—'one nation under God.' Yet we have wickedly broken our covenants with You, breached our national relationship with You, cast off protective restraints and refused to remain under You, not trusted in You, attempted to deny the holy rights You embedded in us—Your creation—and arrogantly placed ourselves in the position of gods by purporting to create rights that were never endowed to us and that contradict the true rights You so graciously endowed in us from creation. We have failed to advance the Christian faith and abused Your mercy and spent Your grace on ourselves rather than taking the gospel to this nation and the entire world. We repent of this wickedness.»
Defiling Your Image
Next section: «Our Wicked Way: Defiling Your Image. You created us in Your image as male and female, joined us together physically in marriage as husband and wife, and commanded us to be fruitful and multiply. We have wickedly defiled Your image by purporting to redefine sex as an ever-expanded concept outside of marriage between a husband and a wife. We repent of this wickedness.»
Shedding of First Nation Blood
And the next section under our wicked way is: «The Shedding of First Nation Blood. We have shed the blood of the native people of our nation. You sent us to this nation to bless them. Instead, we broke covenant with them, lied to them, stole from them, misrepresented Your true nature to them, and murdered them. We repent of this wickedness.»
Shedding of Innocent African-Americans' Blood
And the next section under our wicked way is: «The Shedding of Innocent African-Americans' Blood. We have shed the blood of the people of the African nations through the sin of human slavery. You sent us to bless the nations of the African continent. Instead, we lied to them, stole from them, destroyed their families, enslaved them, misrepresented Your true nature to them, and murdered them. We repent of this wickedness.»
Shedding of Unborn Blood
And the next section under our wicked way is: «The Shedding of Unborn Blood. We have shed the blood of our unborn children. You are Creator God, and You created us in Your image as procreators, commanding us to be fruitful and multiply. Instead, we have pursued the inherent pleasure of the procreative union while casting aside the procreative fruitful blessing of the union. Moreover, when fruit has been produced, we have disobeyed Your dual commandments to be fruitful and to not murder by killing over 60 million children in the womb. We repent of this wickedness.»
Prayer for Relief
And now the section: «Prayer for Relief. Now therefore, having fulfilled all of the above four conditions, we boldly ask You to grant the relief promised in Your word, namely that You: 1. hear this appeal from heaven; 2. forgive all of our sins, including those listed above; 3. heal these United States of America by: a. enjoining the appellees from any further action to kill, steal, and/or destroy Your will for these United States of America; and b. enjoining that the earthly result of the pending elections for United States of America’s President, Senate, and House of Representatives be accomplished now on earth in accordance with Your divine kingdom and will in heaven, namely that Donald J. Trump be re-elected President of these United States with sufficient supporting numbers in both houses of Congress for Your will to be accomplished in and for this nation. 'Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.'»
Closing and Encouragement
And then this is dated November the 28th, 2020. «Respectfully submitted to the court by Dutch Sheets, counsel of the record.» And then there is a place for you to sign as a co-counsel as you read and declare this yourself. What a brilliant, brilliant job. And I want to encourage all of you to read it yourself, sign it, put it somewhere where you can see it on occasion. Maybe for a few days, read it every day. Maybe as a group, some of you can read this and come into this and submit this formal appeal to the Lord on behalf of our nation. I believe we’re gaining momentum. I believe we’re going to win.
