Creflo Dollar - The Battle Against Satan Has Been Won
Father, I thank you for this opportunity to minister to these, your precious sheep. I thank you, Lord, that revelation knowledge will flow freely, uninterrupted and unhindered by any satanic or demonic force. And Father, I pray that you will speak through my vocal cords and think through my mind, none of me and all of you. It is in Jesus's name we pray, and everybody said, "amen".
Come on, give the Lord another big handclap of praise. He is worthy. He is worthy. He is worthy. Learn how to praise your way out of a situation. Learn how to praise your way out of depression. Learn how to praise your way out, man. Praise will paralyze the enemy, amen. So, we've been talking about the finished works of Jesus Christ, and one of the things that has been finished is that the battle against Satan has been won. It has been won. I am not telling you to do things to try to win. I'm telling you that the battle against your adversary and your adversary is the devil. You have an adversary. The adversary is the devil, and your adversary wants to get you to back up and to not believe that the victory over him has been won. He's been stripped. He's like an old dog named Waldo. He don't even have a bark anymore.
Imagine breaking in somebody's house, well don't imagine that, but for an example, breaking in somebody's house and an old dog come up behind you say, "woof". That's what the enemy is, his teeth have been pulled, the bite has been taken away from him, and the victory is yours. So, then what am I talking about here? If the battle against Satan has been won, what am I talking about here? Our battle against the enemy is standing and maintaining the victory that has been won. That's our battle, is standing and maintaining the victory, not getting the victory. We fight from the place of victory. We're not fighting from the place of defeat.
So, no matter what you're going through, you're not fighting from that place of defeat, from that place of hurt feelings, from that place of brokenness. Your fight is from the place of victory that Jesus Christ has already won for you. If you understand that, say "amen". Your fight is from that place. Let's begin this morning in this text in John 10:10. And so, I want to teach you how to fight. I want to teach you how to fight, but I don't want you to misunderstand what this battle is. It's not trying to get healed, not trying to get delivered, not trying to get the necessary provision and supply, all of that has been given already, all right?
Now, John 10:10. Ready? Read. "The thief comes not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and they might have it abundantly". Now, look at this in the New Living Translation. Now, know what he said. He says the thief, and who's the thief? Satan is the thief, the thief cometh to steal, to kill, and to destroy, so God should not be getting the blame for that. There's a devil loose and he comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Now, listen to this. He says, "The thief's purpose is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life". The thief's purpose is to steal. What's been stolen from you? The thief's purpose is to kill. The thief's purpose is to destroy. What's been destroyed in your life and around you? But don't forget this, God's purpose is so he can give you a rich and satisfying life.
Now, go with me to the Book of Luke chapter 10:19. Let me show you what has already been made available. And now with your faith, you're gonna have to receive it. With your faith, you're gonna have to take possession. If he's made things available, and they're just there and you haven't taken possession of those things, then you're almost coming real close to counting the blood of Jesus worthless 'cause it's there, it's available. And look what it says in verse 19. "Behold, I give unto you power". Now, power here it's defined as ability or notice, the power, or excuse me, this word here is defined authority. Scratch what I just said. This word here "power", the first word "power" is defined authority. So God says, "I've given you authority, the right to command. I've given you authority to tread over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power or ability".
So, the first word "power" means authority. The second word "power" means ability. So, God says, "I have given you authority, the right to command over all of the ability of the enemy". So, whatever ability the enemy has, and most likely, the place where he really works against us is through the power or the ability of suggestion, saying something to you, showing something, trying to inflict fear in your life, trying to get you to panic. Panic is groundless fear. You become fearful over something that hadn't even happened yet, and you spend a lot of time what if, what if, what if? Suggestion, the power of suggestion. He wants to make a suggestion. He wants to try to inflict fear through what you can see and fear in what you can hear. And the Bible says we have authority over all of those strategies.
Please understand, you have an enemy who spends time developing strategies, personal strategies against you, and the strategies are designed to stop you from reaching and achieving the call of God on your life. So, what God will do is he will take some of the stuff the devil comes up with, and then use it to perfect you and exercise your spiritual muscle to get to the place where you've been called to if you don't let him use the strategy to stop you. The assignment of the enemy is, how can I paralyze you and stop you so you won't take possession and you won't move? He wants to keep you, he wants to keep you paralyzed, and keep you in fear. And God has not given us a spirit of fear, but has given us what? Love, and power, and a sound mind.
You have authority over the devil. You have authority over every negative thought. You have authority over what you see. You have authority over what you hear. You have authority over your hurt. You have authority over your emotions that are negative. You have authority over any attack that comes your way, and you've got to start reminding yourself, "Hmm, I'm going through this. However, I have been given authority over this. I'm in pain because I've been betrayed, but I got authority over that pain. I got sickness in my body, but I got authority over that sickness. I mismanaged my money, and I don't know how I'm gonna get the money to pay my house note. I have authority over that".
There is nothing that will ever happen in your life that God didn't foresee and foreknow, and has already provided for you the necessary authority to command something to show up in place of that strategy that Satan has against you, and the church said, "amen". Hallelujah. And then what it says here, it says you not only have authority over the ability of the enemy, but nothing shall by any means hurt you. It won't hurt you. He said it won't hurt you. It won't hurt you. It won't hurt you. When you're on a plane and they say, "Look like we bout to crash", you have authority. "No, I'm on this plane and nothing shall by any means hurt me. I released the angels, do your job. I will live and not die".
I guarantee you, you got folks on the airplane who don't know Jesus who will be saying, "amen". We've got to be people who exercise our authority. You don't know how powerful you are because you sit back and you think, "Well, that doesn't happen". I dare you to start using your authority. It's like a policeman, you put him in the middle of traffic, you give him a uniform, you give him the authority to command the traffic. He has the signs to do that. But if he stands there, and he doesn't... no, let's take that. Let's take away the uniform and just put them in the middle of the street. What's gonna happen? "Fool, get out the road"! But when you have authority, he has to exercise his authority and when he does, the traffic stops. Same thing with you, you gotta exercise your authority.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. You don't sit there quiet and just let the devil beat your brains out. If there's stupid stuff going on in your relationship, you speak. "This is a great relationship. I'm not selfish. What my wife and how my wife treats me is none of my business. My business is how I treat her, and I treat her in the love of Jesus". And the devil says, "Oh my God, you have authority". Now, go to the next Scripture. Colossians chapter 2. Now let's look at verse 13 through 15. Say out loud, "I have authority over all of the power of the devil". He actually doesn't have any. I'll show you that in a minute.
Now, watch this. "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him", look at what he's done, "having forgiven you all your trespasses". Now, every sin in your life past, present, and future, has been forgiven. All right, look at verse 14, "Blotting out". How did he do that? He blotted out the handwriting of the ordinance that was against us. And we're gonna read this in Amplified afterwards. "He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us", that's the law, "which was contrary to us, and he took it out of the way, and he nailed it to the cross". Verse 15, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it".
Now, watch this in the Amplified. I'm telling you, Satan has been whipped. I said he's been whipped. Or how we say in College Park, whooped. "And you who were dead in trespasses and in circumcision of your flesh, (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), God brought to life together with (Christ), having freely forgiven us of all of our transgressions". Verse 14, "Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note the bond with its legal decrees and demands". What's he talking about here? The Law of Moses, the Mosaic Law. He's wiped it out with his legal demands and decrees, which was enforced and stood against us and it was hostile to us. This note with its regulations, the Mosaic Law, with its decrees, with its demands.
See, the law demands, demands, demands. With his demands, he set aside and he cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to his cross. God, when he did that, when he took and delivered us from the curse of the law, he disarmed the principalities and powers. Now, those are demon forces that have been assigned to come against you, and the strategy's to try to destroy you. And he said he stripped them of their power, they have been disarmed. Notice the association. When he took away the law, he took away the power for these demon spirits to operate against you.
So, if any demon spirits... now, some of y'all tripping out, "Demon spirits"? Yeah, that's what was in you last night when you were cussin' and said, "I don't know why I did that". Those are demon spirits that have been disarmed. They have been disarmed. They can't work against you. They've been disarmed. They've been disarmed. The only way that a demon spirit can work through you is that you politely invite them to be a part of your life. They have been disarmed. Now, quit thinking about "The Exorcist", the movie, that ain't what this is. They cause influence, but they have been disarmed and they were ranged against us, the Bible says, and they made a bold display and a public example of them. And he said and in triumphing over them in Him and in the cross.
You know when he said this? We have victory over every demon spirit. You don't you don't hear teachings on demons anymore. We used to, I mean in early '80s, boy, that's all we did is cast demons out. Of course, we had to be a little careful because after a while, we thought everything was a demon. I mean, really when somebody was being disobedient, that's a demon of disobedience. No, that was called a choice of disobedience, okay? But they exist, and they exist to try to torment you. They exist to try to get you to submit to the influence and that's why we've gotta stand bold in our victory because there are demon forces trying to get you to, you know, influence you to do stupid stuff.
Now, you still make the decision. Nothing can make you do anything, not even God can make you do anything. You are a free moral agent, and you choose to do what you do. Please understand something. Somebody says, "I seen it, the devil made me do it". That's impossible. He can't make you do. Please understand something, the devil can't make you do anything and God won't make you do anything. What you do is based on your decision to do it. So, this thing about, "Well, the devil made me do it". No, no, no, no, no, you made a choice to do it. It's like, "I don't even know how I got in this woman's bed, and she ain't even my wife. Something came over me".
Boy please, you made a decision, you accepted the influence. You made a choice to get where you were, and you don't have to do that because they've already been defeated, but we're not taking a hold of our authority against them. We have authority against the power of suggestion and influence. We have authority over all that stuff. Okay, I'm gonna leave that alone 'cause some you getting weirded out like, I've seen those things in operation for years. I used to work at a psychiatric institute and, boy, I saw those things operating big time on a daily basis, and I took authority over them. In some cases that the protocol we had set up to try to help some of these patients didn't work.
And so, I'd pull them in a back room and those demons start manifesting, I cast them out of them. And then they turn out all right and start, they get to discharge a whole lot earlier than what they would normally get discharged, and nobody know what happened. "Oh, they just seemed to get better". And then one patient told one time say, "No, Mr. Dollar cast the devil out of me". I said, "Oh, there goes that job". All right, come on, James chapter 4:7. James chapter 4:7.
Now, in James chapter 4:7, he gives us some instructions here. He says here, "Submit yourself therefore to God". Backup, look at verse 6 for a moment. Let's read into this. Verse 6 says, "But he giveth more grace". How many would like more grace? "He giveth more grace. Wherefore we saith, God resisteth the proud, but he gives grace into the humble". All right, so to humble yourself is to comply. So, what does he want us to comply in? Look at the next verse, here's the compliance. "Submit yourself therefore to God". All right, we do you want us to do, Lord? Resist the devil.
Now, I looked at this word "resist" and, you know, people over the years got really spiritual about resist the devil. You know, okay, so what does it mean to resist the devil? It means to fight back. It means to withhold and to withstand. So, to resist the devil means to actively fight back. How? By standing in your victory. Fight back by holding on to what's already been done. Fight back against the influences that try to get you to change your mind about your stand. Your fighting back is when he comes to try to change your mind to try to change your position of victory, you say, "No. According to the Word, I am healed". "Nah, but according to the doctor, he said you're gonna die". "No! I am healed". And you fight back. You open your mouth, and you stand in the victory, and you fight back. You withstand. You stand on that victory no matter what.
If God says I've already provided your provision, you know, God is my supply house. Say that, "God is my supply house". Notice, God shows up and he says, "I will offer you this. I offer you supply for whatever you need". My God shall supply all your, what? I offer you supply for whatever you need. Now, how do you fight lack? You're standing in the supply house and you're saying to lack. Uh-uh, you might be in need, but Jesus has my supply. So, what do I do? With my faith, I lay hold of my supply and I begin to go talking like what I believe. My God is my supply. Turn to two people tell them, "Jesus is my supply house".
Somebody says, "But Brother Dollar, that's hard to do when, you know, it's staring you in the face". Bruh, listen, ain't nobody said they was going... just cause it's hard doesn't mean don't do it. That's the fight. If it was easy, everybody would have some. My grandma used to tell me that. She said, she used to call money dead presidents. She said, "You gonna have enough dead presidents when you grow up"? And I'm like, "Huh"? I never could get that. She said, "Dead presidents, boy". And finally she said, "Look at the money, what you see"? I said, "Dead presidents". And mamaw said, "If it was easy, everybody would have some".
So, if you're expecting for it to just be a little easy thing, you are already deceived. You stand up. Put a fight up. There's one thing about this fight, it's fixed. Turn to your neighbor say, "It's a fixed fight". It can't get no more fixed than what it already is. You know why? Because you already have... notice the fight. The victory is already yours. It's fixed. All you gotta do is hold on to it. All you gotta do is hold on to it. That's your fight, keep it. Healing is already yours, keep it. Deliverance is already yours, keep it. You know the problem in this world today? They don't know it's already theirs.
Same trick of the devil try to get you to think that you don't have it. Adam and Eve, "You'll be just like God if you eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil". They were already just like God. He's gonna try to deceive you first in your identity to try to get you to question who you are, and then where your supply is concerned, to question your supply. Your life of faith is, "I know who I am, and I know what I have", and stay there, keep it. Don't let it go. Submit yourself therefore to God, fight back, resist the devil, withstand him. A lot of times our victory is on the other side of us just withstanding him. Can you withstand the attack? Can you withstand really the pressure?
And listen, quit running from pressure. I said quit running from the pressure and quit thinking that you're odd because you're having pressure. If anybody is a Christian, I can assure you pressure is a part of your Christianity. Stop running for it. It's going to come. They that live godly shall have pressure. Why? Because there's a call on your life. You got to prepare somehow. You got to prepare somehow. There may be something in your life that you don't yet know about. You're in preparation for the ultimate reason for why you're here. So you've got to pass the test of pressure that's coming from circumstances, that's coming from situation, that's coming from lack, and that's coming from people.
You don't need somebody's validation and handclap over your performance. Stop looking for people to applause you. The only audience you're concerned about is an audience of one: Jesus. An audience of one. "Resist the devil and he will flee from you". The word "flee" means to run with fear. You know what he says? "O Lord, if you will withstand and stand up", you submit yourself to God first and then withstand the devil, fight back. You know what he says? He runs with fear away from those who know who they are and the victory they have. Satan cannot defeat, overcome, or continue to mess with someone who knows who they are and what they have. It's gonna be over for a minute, folks, but stand up against it.
Say, "I don't care what it looks like". And it may look like it ain't never gonna break through but don't let 'em see you weep. Stand. Somebody say, "What you gonna do after you stand"? Stand. "Well, what you gonna do after you stand twice"? Stood. "Well, how'd you go from stand to stood"? Because I got my victory now, the manifestation of my victory. I had it before, I was standing in my victory but then I stood in my victory 'cause now I see the manifestation of my victory. That's the deal right there. He's coming after you to see if he can knock you off of your victory. We're exposing him today. I say we're exposing him today. You're gonna pimp out here and say, "You want some of me? You want some of me"? You're gonna do that Miyagi-sahn. "You want some of me? Aghh, c'mon, you want some of me"?
Uh-huh, this can't last always. Trouble don't last always. Trouble don't last always. There is no such thing as trouble coming to you without an expiration. You gotta hold it out. It's not gonna stay there always. So don't do nothing stupid. 'Cause of that, don't turn your back on God. He will never turn his back on you. "But if God was God then why he let that happen"? I told you there's a devil loose and your flesh is loose and your decisions are there. We're blaming God for everything.
Last week, I told you don't put the God stamp on everything that happens in your life, amen. "Well, something must be wrong". Ain't nothing gotta be wrong. Remember the story of the guy that was born blind, I think it was, and they kept asking, "Well, who did wrong for this boy to be born blind"? And Jesus said, "Nobody did nothin' wrong". He said, "But for the glory of God". I am announcing to you guys today except but the glory of God you have been ordained and called to be partakers of the glory of God. You have been called to sweat the glory of God and there are a lot of things that are happening in your life to prepare you to sweat some glory.
Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Preparing you to sweat glory means that no matter what you're going through and people see what you're going through but if they keep watching they're gonna see you sweat some glory. They're gonna see you sweat some manifestations. They're gonna see you sweat the victory that Jesus already said you had. I dare you to turn to somebody and say, "I'm sweating the glory of God". Said I wasn't gonna cry this morning. I've been crying a lot lately. Not because of 'cause I'm sad but because of what God's been doing.
I had a really, really close friend of ours that was going through a terrible fight with brain cancer and, you know, we're believing God and getting the wisdom of God and believing God, getting the wisdom of God, and you know when you do those tests they get into the cancer cells and they have a marker for it and it was really high. And then it went to a lower number and I got a call and they were at the doctor's office, tearing it up. What's going on? My wife said, I was in the other room and I heard Taffi just shouting and praising the Lord. And she opened her mouth up and she said, "They didn't find no cancer cells. All the cancer gone. They didn't find no cancer".
Let me show, I'm saying this to you. There are tears of victory and I couldn't say nothing. I was trying to rejoice with her and I had shaving cream on my face. I'm trying to get dressed and when I heard what she said I just came... it wasn't no, you know, I came to her and I just, the tears fell out. You ever had that time? You don't even try to hold 'em back. They just fall out. And I grabbed Taffi and we just started crying and hugging and praising the Lord. Why? Because the expiration date had finally come. And I announce that over your life this morning. The expiration date has finally come. Great is our Jesus. You get yourself stirred up.
Sometimes you just need a good preaching at. You get yourself stirred up. You get yourself stirred up, hallelujah. Sometimes, you need to let that devil know, "You think you're messing with me? You ain't messing with me. I'll shout a thousand hallelujahs and mess you up. I'll dance unto God with a voice of triumph. You ain't messing with me. I'm gonna mess with you. I'm gonna put fear on you. Now how you like it"? Revelations 12. Revelations 12:10 through 11. I'm equipping you, this is your ammo. I'm giving you enough Scripture to keep the devil on his back. He said, "I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down".
Now let me stop here just for a moment. You can clearly see, who is the accuser of the brethren? Well, you stop accusing folks and stop joining his team. "Well, the reason why that happened to you is 'cause you sinned. And the reason why that happened, 'cause you didn't pray long enough". Quit joining the team. You are not supposed to be the accuser of the brethren. But there are just too many people in the body of Christ that they become a part of the accuser of the brethren. Shut your mouth up. The revival of Azusa Street was going just fine until a bunch of preachers got involved and thought that he needs to do this and he needs to understand that. Don't you know God is well able to equip people to do what they need to do? Just leave folks alone. Quit being the accuser of the... as long as people coming to Jesus Christ and getting born again, are you kidding me? The Holy Spirit can handle the rest of it.
But everybody always got something to say, like somebody made you the Holy Ghost police. Like you the spiritual po-po. You shut your mouth up. Ain't nobody got this thing down perfect. We're doing it just the best we know how. I ain't got it down perfect, I'm doing just the best I know how for right now. If I'd have known any better, I'd have preached this message a long time ago but I didn't know no better then. I'm doing the best I know how, so I don't need nobody up there, "Well, he didn't". You don't either. Quit being the accuser of the brethren. God, regardless of what you think, can use anybody he want to. And isn't it like God? He's always gonna pick somebody you never would have thought. And you going all them cemetery schools and, he uses whoever he wants to use whenever he wants to use 'em, just like he wants to use 'em, and quit trying to fit people in that old traditional mode.
Let folks do what God called them to do. I'm called to be a teacher. I teach. You don't like teaching, go find you some preaching. But I got to do what I'm trying to, don't, "Well, you need to hook it up a little bit". Quit being a part of the accuser of the brethren. Rejoice with people, be happy for folks. When they get a promotion, rejoice with 'em. Get a new house, shout with 'em. Get a new car, ride with 'em. Learn how to rejoice for people. Get yourself off your mind for a minute so you can rejoice with somebody else. And what you don't know is what you do for somebody else acts like a boomerang and then it comes and it hits your life because you rejoicing with somebody else.
Quit being such a, such a, such a... There are lots of words to finish that, right? Such a, such a, such a, such a. Stop. Okay, I'm back. I kind of left you all for a moment. "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death".
Now, let me show you what this means. This is not a magic spell. This is not, "I plead the blood. Oh, it didn't work, I need to do it two more times. I plead the blood, I plead the blood". No, he says they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony about the blood of the Lamb. The word of their testimony testifying about what the blood of the Lamb has made available. So here's how you overcome the devil when he show up. By the blood of Jesus, I've been made righteous. Bam. By the blood of Jesus, I've been redeemed. Bam. By the blood of Jesus, I'm already holy. Bam, bam. By the blood of Jesus, my supply house is Jesus. Bam, bam, bam. By the blood of Jesus, all my sins have been paid for. You overcome by what the blood has accomplished for you and you testify or give testimony or give voice to what the blood of Jesus has already done.
But most people, they don't overcome by the blood of the Lamb because they don't know what the blood of the Lamb has accomplished. And if you don't know what the blood of the Lamb has already accomplished for you, how you gonna overcome? Somebody told me, "If you really want to keep a secret, put it in a book". Well, that's over. We opening this book up every time we get together. We wanna find out the secrets that are in this book, find out what the blood has done. Well, you already know, I've been teaching on what the blood has done for you, good Lord, if you've been part of this church any time, overcome him with that. Give testimony to what he's done. Give testimony that his blood has made you healed, of the finished works that I'm preaching on right now, and then say this. Save this one for the last: "Oh yeah, by the blood of Jesus, Satan is a defeated foe". Overcome him 'cause he cannot stand up against the blood, amen?
All right, 1 Peter 5, verses 8 through 10. I'm gonna look at this in the King James and the New Living Translation. 1 Peter 5, verses 8 and 10. Something is going to happen. I don't know I'm believing in it but have you ever been in a situation, you've been doing something, look like you did it before? And you know the next thing that's getting ready to happen? That just happened to me. I was, like, I did this before. I know exactly what's getting ready to happen. O Jesus. O glory, glory, glory. Oh, whatever's dead in your house, whatever's dead in your relationship, and whatever's dead in your life, is about to be resurrected. If it wasn't, it is now, I just said it.
There's a power that comes when prophesying over people. And I'm prophesying victory over your life. I'm prophesying success over your life. I'm prophesying resurrection in your life. I'm prophesying supernatural progress in your life. I'm prophesying that whatever's been stolen is gonna be restored back unto you. I am prophesying supernatural favor in your life. I'm prophesying it over you right now. Be it done unto you. Ooh, boy, there's an anointing sweeping across this room right now, hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah. See, the anointing will remove the burden. It'll destroy the yoke. It empowers supernatural. Supernatural. You won't even have a explanation for what's about to happen. The only way you can reply is, "This is the Lord's doing. This got to be God".
Some of you sitting here, minding your own business, trying to figure out how you gonna work this thing out when you get back home and while you are seated here, minding your own business, there's a change going on right now. There's a change of status going on right now. The old you is gonna have to surrender and bow down to the new you, hallelujah. Something is going on in the realm of the Spirit right now. And it'll be marvelous in our eyes. It'll be marvelous in our eyes. It'll be marvelous in our eyes, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hey, glory to God. Hallelujah. O glory, glory, glory, glory, glory, hallelujah, glory be to God, hallelujah. I sense it in my spirit right now. Hallelujah, glory, glory be to God.
If God has ever delivered you from anything, if he did it once, he's about to do it again and again and again and again and again. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. All is well, all is well. Ah, you're about to sweat the glory, ha, ha, hallelujah. You have been called to a place of undeserved privilege so you can see the glory of God. So you can share in the glory that comes from him. The glory is just manifested promises, manifested Word, amen. Praise God, amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
