Creflo Dollar — How to Receive Provision
If you have your Bibles, go with me again to the book of Romans chapter 5, and verse 2. Last week, we began a series entitled "The Laws of Provisions." "The Laws of Provision." And one of the reason we're talking about the laws of provision is because for several years now we've been talking about grace, and we understand that we have been delivered from the law of Moses.
But most people assume that if you are delivered from the law of Moses, that, they kind of think that you're talking about all laws, you know. For example, you have the law of society. You haven't been delivered from that. You break those laws, there are consequences. Then there's the laws that govern this natural world. The law of gravity still operates. You've not been delivered from that. You have been delivered specifically from the law of Moses, which says you have to do something first in order to get God to do something second.
You're delivered from the law of Moses that says your performance determines whether or not God will perform for you, but you're not delivered from specific laws that govern life in the spirit. For example, there is the law, the two major laws that exist where all other laws come under is, first of all, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, that's where the life cycle operates.
That's where you get healing. That's where the blessings operate. That's where prosperity operates, under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. But then you have the law of sin and death. Under the law of sin and death, that's where the death cycle begins. That's where sickness is. That's where poverty is. All of those things are a result of those two major laws. And so you've got to understand there are laws that govern certain aspects of the spirit realm. You haven't been delivered from those.
Well, what is a law? A law is simply defined as a spiritual principle that will work the same way for anybody who'll get involved in the principles every time. For example, gravity is a law. The law of gravity will work for everybody in this room who will get involved in the testing of the law of gravity. I guarantee you, the climb on top of this dome, close your eyes, and step on the side, the law of gravity will treat everyone of you the same way.
Splash. And I tell you what, the law of gravity operated during the time of Moses the same way it operates during our time right here today. So I want you to be convinced that while we are free from the law of Moses, we have to understand that there are laws and principles that govern aspects of the spiritual world, and even where the law of Moses is concerned.
As a Christian, Romans chapter 10 and 4, those who are born again and saved, you have come to the end of the law, for those of you who are born again and saved. But in 1 Timothy chapter 4 around verse 8, the law of Moses is still valid and in operation for those who are not born again. It's valid and in operation for those are robbers, and murderers, and whoremongers, those who have not come to the end of the law, because they're still living the way they live.
So the law of Moses is still valid for those who are not saved, but those who are born again, you have come to the end of the law of Moses. So I'm taking the time to talk about this, because I don't want you to just generalize the statement "I'm free from the law of Moses" as if it is every law that governs other aspects of the realm of the spirit. If you understand all that, say amen.
So here's what we're going to deal with today specifically. We're going to talk about how to receive provision. And there's a principle that governs receiving what grace has made available. We believe that the grace of God has already made things available. By the grace of God, I'm already healed. It happened 2,000 years ago. Healing provided 2,000 years ago. By the grace of God, I'm already delivered. It happened 2,000 years ago. Deliverance was provided 2,000 years ago. By the grace of God, provision has already been made available. When? Well, he made it available 2,000 years ago, all right.
And so we understand that grace has already made everything that pertains to life and godliness, it is already a done deal. So you don't have to struggle in prayer to try to get God to do what he's already done. I'm telling you that everything that pertains to your life has already been done, over 2,000 years ago.
But now here's the deal: you're trying to figure how then can I walk in the manifestation of something that's already been done? See, if I say to you I've already deposited $2,000 in your account, you need to know the protocol necessary to get the manifestation of the $2,000 that's been deposited into your account. So turn to your neighbor and say, "The deposit for your life has already been done." It is now a matter of understanding the protocol necessary to get something that already exists, that already has been done, to get it to manifest in your life.
Now I am absolutely convinced that it is not the will of God for you to understand that grace has already made certain things available to you, but then you can't walk in it, you can't see the manifestations of it. He's already healed you, but then you can't see the manifestation of healing. He's already delivered you, but you're still in bondage, because you can't walk in the manifestations of what has already been done. He's already given you provision, but you don't have a clue on how to withdraw of what's already been made available, and so I'm telling you it's time.
It's time. No more going around, you know, articulating all the wonderful things you know that the grace of God has done. It is show and tell time. You gotta know how to do this. It says no more of this religious hoping and a praying, you know, yaba-daba-do, abracadabra. No more of that. We have got to understand the protocol, the law that governs receiving. We've got to understand the principle behind walking in manifested provision.
