Creflo Dollar — Practical Ways to Developing Confidence
The more you renew your mind in that Word and the more you allow that Word to have authority over the way you think, the more time you spend with renewing your mind with that Word, you're gonna find yourself having confidence in that Word, you're gonna have yourself-- you're gonna find yourself having a faith in that Word, assurance in that Word, and you'll find yourself trusting that Word.
When you spend time in confessing that Word, you spend time calling those things that be not as though they were, you spend time decreeing a thing and the Bible says it shall come to pass; guess what? You're gonna start developing confidence in the finished works of Jesus Christ.
But when you meditate on the Word of God--the Bible says in Joshua 1:8, meditate on that Word day and night, that you will make your way prosperous and you'll have good success. What's going on there? What's really happening there? You're developing confidence in that.
Honey, when God's got something for you to do, can't nothing stop you from reaching that place that God has already destined for you to do. And when God has destiny on your life, the best place for anybody to be is near you.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what the world has got to see coming from us. Not stress, not worry, not care, but cheer and joy, and letting them know, "I so believe God, that I will not sink in depression, I'll not sink into worry! I believe my God, hallelujah! Surely what He promised shall come to pass! Surely what He said shall come to pass! So I might as well go ahead and be of good cheer because I believe God!"
I've got to believe God! If I don't believe God, I don't know what else to do! I'll perish if I don't believe God! But today I believe God! So I've gotta shout, I've gotta laugh, I've gotta dance! I believe God!!
