Bill Winston - Raise Your Expectations
Drawing from Exodus 3 and Psalm 103, the preacher warns that Satan tries to negotiate believers out of their full redemption benefits—like healing, provision, and favor—that come with salvation, declaring that God provides supernatural transfer from Heaven’s warehouse, including new body parts for the maimed, and believers should refuse any compromise.
Satan the Negotiator
Now, what I told you is that Satan is a negotiator. That his job is to negotiate you out of what God says is yours. Look at Exodus chapter 3, please. Over in Exodus chapter 3, the children of Israel. I see I’m going to have to preach this. The children of Israel are coming out of Egypt. Now God is sending Moses down there to get them out.
It’s interesting what he did with Moses. He said, «Moses, I want you to go down and take Israel out of there.» Moses said, «Wait a minute. Who shall I say sent me?» He said, «Just tell them I AM.» I said, just tell them, «I AM.»
The Power of I AM
You see, I AM is not I was. Come on. I AM is not some day I’m going to be. See, when you’re dealing with faith, you are dealing with I AM. You’re dealing with the very presence of God. You see, in the eternal, it’s already done. In Heaven it’s already done. God doesn’t start till He’s finished.
Everything for your life that God was going to do, He finished it before you ever came in. So I’m saying it’s already done. And you cannot say, «I’m going to be.» If you do that, you’re not lining up with the power of faith to deliver it into your hand.
God’s Unusual Methods
So Moses had to go down there. He didn’t give them a battery of lawyers. He didn’t give them a bunch of 100,000 soldiers. He gave them a stick and a big mouth man named Aaron. He said, «Now take us down there and you going to set Israel free.»
I’m saying to you, stop looking at the way the world does things. God is about to give you a way to do something that the world has never looked at and might be laughing at. I’m here to tell you you’re about to get back everything…
Recovering What Was Lost
You see, the problem has been is that we have lost some stuff and didn’t know we lost it. The reason why is because we weren’t in faith. You see, only by faith can God transfer it into your hands. And we have… And not knowingly, because we weren’t walking in faith, much of what God has intended for our lives has not been delivered to us.
So the enemy still got it, and he’s now going to negotiate with Moses. So this is what he says to him in one place. He said, well, now see, after Moses started demonstrating the power, because the only thing Satan going to respect is power. And so he’s demonstrating the power.
No Deal with the Enemy
And then here comes Pharaoh said, «Listen okay, I’m going to let you go, but don’t go too far.» Come on. And Moses said, «No deal.» Then he came at him again. He said, «Okay, tell you what I’ll let you go, but leave the children here.» What do you think? Moses said, «No deal.»
Now, I’m telling you, what I said is, does bread comes with this? I said the woman went up to the counter, got her barbecue, walked away, looked in the bag, and somebody left the bread out. And I’m telling you, somebody left the bread out in your life. Because bread comes with this.
Forget Not All His Benefits
When you got released, you got benefits. And it says in Psalm chapter 103 and verse 1, «Bless the Lord, O my soul, ” come on now, „And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul. And forget not, ” Forget not. „Forget not His benefits. Who forgives all thine iniquities. Who heals all thy diseases.“
How many iniquities does He forgive? All of them. Everything you’ve ever done, even that you’ve never told anybody about—when you crossed over, God wiped it out. All right, folks, it’s not in history. It doesn’t exist.
Maximum Coverage Redemption
So not only did He do that, but He healeth all your diseases. So that means, really, it’s covering everything. You got maximum coverage. I’m just saying. Notice what he did. He took it and gave you a brand new start, and then healed everything you got.
But then I saw in Psalm 105 and verse 37, „He brought them forth also with silver and gold.“ I said, silver and gold. You see, your redemption is not complete without divine provision. He never did want you to be born again and trying to struggle to pay off bills. No, no, you forget not all your benefits. Bread comes with this.
Not Going Empty
Look what he says over here in Exodus chapter 3. Now, here’s what I’m saying, folks. If you expect the supernatural, you will get the supernatural. Let me just show you what this says. He said this in verse 19, „And I am sure that the King of Egypt will not let you go. No, not by a mighty hand. And I’ll stretch forth my hand, and I’m going to smite Egypt with all my wonders, which I will do in the midst thereof. And after that he will let you go.“
Notice what He said, „I’m sure the King of Egypt will not let you go.“ No, not by anything that you can do in your own strength. He ain’t gonna let you go. But I’m going to stretch out my hand. Come on now. God is about to stretch out His hand.
Favor and Full Provision
And He says, this—watch this. And he says, „In Egypt, with all my wonders, which I will do in the midst thereof. And after that he will let you go. And I’ll give this people favor.“ Come on, somebody say, „Favor.“ And Lord have mercy. „And in the sight of all Egyptians and it shall come to pass, that when you go, you will not go…“ How? You will not go, how? Empty.
Now when you go, you’re not going to go empty. I said, when you go, you’ll not go empty. Now, see, bread comes with this. And Satan’s trying to call something back, and tell you that you can get saved, but healing—leave that alone. You’re okay. Just keep limping.
One Day of Favor
He is saying that you get saved, but that’s alright. I know you’re behind in your rent, but just keep a stiff upper lip and just let the Lord just have His way in your life. And, no, no, you’re supposed to own the apartment building. Listen, listen—one day of favor, it’s worth a lifetime of labor. I said one day of favor is worth a lifetime of labor.
I’m saying they had worked for 400 years, and they will do something. Look what he says next. Verse 22. „And every woman shall borrow of her neighbor, and of her that sojourned in the house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, raiment. And ye shall put them upon your sons upon your daughters.“ And you shall do what to the Egyptians? „You shall spoil the Egyptians.“
Keep the Word High
Stay with me. You and I have got to make sure that we don’t bring this Word down to our interpretation. We gotta make sure. We have to make sure we keep the Word up there where God said it should be. Are you with me here?
Now, this healing for example—somebody might have a situation where cancer runs in their family and the doctor said it runs in your family, and that’s just the way it is. Alright, let’s don’t pull it down. Let’s keep it up there. Because God in healing you can press new genetic keys.
New Genetic Keys
And what you had a weakness for or susceptible to is no longer in your life. And I declare that’s happening right now in the name of Jesus. I said, in the name of Jesus. Now this. Who we are. And how God has made us.
I want you to see over in Psalm chapter 139, in Psalm chapter 139, now I’m talking about „Forget not all His, ” what? Benefits. You’ve got some benefits out here, and you are not to leave without those benefits. They are your benefits. And God said they are yours.
Your Pre-Designed Members
Now I’m about to take you out somewhere, perhaps where you haven’t gone before. So just hold on. But remember, Satan is a negotiator. His job is to make you feel you don’t deserve something. Or to blind your mind so you won’t see something.
And I’m telling you here, in this meeting they’re opening up you. They’re having you to see things that you didn’t see so you going to get things that you didn’t get and go somewhere you’ve never been before. Alright now watch this. In verse 15. „My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret and curiously wrought in the lower parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect. And in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.“
Heaven’s Warehouse
Now what does this mean? This means that in Heaven, before you were made, the Bible says in Jeremiah 1:5, „Before I formed you in your mother’s womb, I knew you.“ Not only did He know you. He then has a file on your members. Stay with me.
A friend of mine some years ago went to visit General Motors or Chrysler or whatever, and what they said to him is that they had wanted to show him the new cars. Then they said, „Let me show you the next year.“ And show him a prototype. „Let me show you the next year.“ Prototype. They had on the drawing board five years of cars.
Inheritance Reserved in Heaven
Over in 1 Peter 1:3, „Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.“ Watch this, „to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, that fadeth not away reserved in Heaven for you.“
So wait a minute. You have an inheritance reserved in Heaven. Now, we’re not talking about going to Heaven when you die and get it then. Jesus didn’t preach that. He didn’t preach going to Heaven. He preached Heaven coming to Earth.
Maimed Made Whole
Now as you look at this, now put it up again. Now come with me now, Matthew chapter 15, look what he says. Verse started in verse 29. „And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee. And He went up into a mountain, and sat down there, and great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, and“ what else? „Maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them, insomuch that the multitude wondered when they saw the“ who? „Dumb to speak, keep going the maimed to be made“ what? „Whole. The lame to walk, and the blind to see. And they glorified the God of Israel.“
Now wait a second. So what am I saying? I’m saying that the maimed got healed. Now wait a minute. I’m not stopping with Jesus because He just said what He did you can do it.
Transfer from Heaven
I listen, I’ve been in war. I’ve seen the maimed. But they brought Him to Jesus, and new members grew out. Now try to explain it. No, don’t try to explain it. By faith you understand. And that’s what’s been happening to the Body of Christ. We have tried to somehow scientifically explain how this happened. Don’t even touch it.
Let it go right into your spirit and let God give you a revelation of it and watch you operating the same thing. Now, where are the members? They’re in Heaven. What’s in Heaven? A warehouse without walls. There is a supply that won’t run out of members. Arms. Legs. Toes. Feet. Hair. Teeth. Eardrums, organs.
Faith as Original Technology
They brought him to Jesus. He healed them. What was He doing? He was using something to transfer Heaven to Earth. Faith is the original technology. You don’t have to know how this works. What you need to do is understand that by faith we understand.
And knowing that if I speak to this mountain. Think about it. I spoke to my car and it started. I don’t know what happened to it. I don’t, Lord have mercy. Are y’all with me?
New Organs and Parts
You see, God knew that we, in our unsaved life, we may have smoked too many cigarettes. And now emphysema has set in. Now the lungs are damaged. Well, you need new lungs. Well, how about kidney? Drunk too much liquor. Liver gone bad. Come on now. I’m take, go right down the line.
It doesn’t make any difference what you got. This is the group that’s going to be made whole. Now, I’m telling you, what has happened is we thought God could heal a cold, but He couldn’t heal a maim. What is the difference with God? What? Come on now.
Supply the Faith
I’m talking about. Do you believe that I’m able to do this? I’m talking about you supply the faith and God does the work. Now you can come back and start to understand. „Oh, yeah. I see. When Jesus healed the blind man came to Him.“ John chapter 9. „And he came to Him. And Jesus spit on the ground, spit on the ground, made some clay, and put it on his eyes.“
Can’t you see the symbolism here? This is how He made him at first. I mean, I’m talking about his body was made out of the clay. It doesn’t make any difference what you got. You are about to be blessed.
Beyond Human Technology
We have settled for a fallen man technology. Thank God that you can go out and buy a hip. But with faith, you can buy with no money. You can transfer. You can transfer a hip. Boy, y’all don’t get me. See, because they need to see a difference between you and the rest of the world. I’m not talking about a small difference. I’m talking about a difference that make a beat that door down to get to your church.
Folks, we are the group that He’s been waiting for. And I’m telling you, with you, don’t be trying to think. „Well, how is that going to happen?“ Stop! Get it out of your mind. Your mind can’t handle this. This is so far above your head till it’s pathetic.
Speak to the Need
What you need to do is with the heart, man, believe. You need to know. Wait a minute. All I got to do is lay hands on the sick and the cancer. And they shall recover. It doesn’t make any difference what they got. It doesn’t make any difference. He’ll fix it all the way down to the genes of molecules. He’ll fix it all the way down.
Now what is Satan trying to do? Negotiate? „Well, listen, just going over there and just, you know, then and so forth. I know it’s not a proven technique, but they they’re going to try it on you and see.“ I thank God for that. But it’s according to your faith.
Nothing Too Hard for God
My faith is going to be in a transfer. I said in a transfer. He’s going to transfer. Come on now. Some of y’all. Listen. And you listen. Some of the cartilage has rubbed off of your knee. Come on. Come on. The ligament has gone bad in it. Why? Because of age. But guess what? Lord have mercy. I don’t care how old you are. God’s about to make it so you leave here long and strong.
Now. Right now I speak cartilage in that knee. In the name of Je—come on. I’m talking to my car now. I’m talking to your knee. I speak cartilage in that knee. I speak cartilage in that shoulder. I speak cartilage in that bone structure. I command new ligaments come into. Oh, Lord. Come on now. Come on.
Now, you just think about this. You just think about this. I’m asking you, is there anything too hard for the Lord? There is nothing too hard for God. If we know that God does it and He needs our authority to speak it, then we need to go to saying something. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
