Bill Winston - Time for Miracles
Bill Winston - Time for Miracles

We saw that Gideon and Israel were in bondage. Matter of fact, Gideon was picking whatever the crop were and hiding the crop behind the winepress so that the Midianites wouldn’t see it and come take it. So Israel was pretty much in bondage. So it tells me, without the miracles happening in Israel’s life, Israel could be in bondage or without the church manifesting miracles. The church could be in bondage, meaning that instead of being the head to churches, the tail instead of being the lender, the church is a borrower. Are you following what I’m saying?

So Jesus came to plant new trees, came to plant new trees. Because the reason biggest reason in in the spirit why something isn’t being done or produced is because the tree is not there to produce it. The belief system Jesus said in Matthew chapter 15, every plant in you which my Heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up. Isn’t that something? And so he came to plant new trees, and he did it mainly by teaching. Over in Mark chapter six, verses one through six, Jesus went in their own hometown and could do no mighty works in his own hometown, mainly because of their. What? Unbelief. Okay.

So they believed something, but they believed something that wasn’t God. And you can believe you have a belief. You. You’re you’re not designed to believe nothing. You believe something. And is your belief lined up with truth? I’m saying that because people in the church have been misled, because some of the teaching hasn’t gone forth. And as a result, they have been following the tribe versus following the truth. They have been following the color versus following the citizenship. I could go on. And so as a result of this. Here is Jesus planting new trees. He was showing them where miracles are not the exception. They’re the rule. They’re the rule.

If you look in the Bible, you’ll see in John 21 how Jesus did so many miracles, until if you had all the books in the earth, you couldn’t you couldn’t put them in there. Yeah, I and the people that the Lord hath given me are for what kind of what? Time and money. So because of that lack of teaching and being miracle minded, God’s people have gone without some of the things and they have not fulfilled their, their, their mandate as believers placed in the earth at this hour to manifest the kingdom of God. So now I’m saying they’re essential. I just closed the service. Last service, somebody came to me and said, hey, my house is in foreclosure. I said, okay, and they’re about to take me to court next week. And, you know, I tried to keep the payments up and so forth and so on. I said, I know you did. I know you did. I said, now, sounds like to me you need a miracle.

Now, what am I saying? I’m saying, isn’t it interesting that without miracles, Israel seemed to go into bondage? Yes. And today I believe that the church has not been taught miracles. So we haven’t expected a miracle. Amen. Amen. Every day. And getting this shopping mall. There was a series of miracles. Because miracles are not the exception. That’s the way you live. It’s called eternal life. That’s where I live. Now, I may not need a miracle every day, but Aunt Lucy does. Uncle George might need one. And I’m a miracle worker. Are you following what I’m saying?

Here is Moses. He was taught miracles. So as we go over in Exodus chapter four, verses one through four, you can see here where Moses was told by God, take his staff and throw it on the ground. And when he did, it turned into a what? A snake. Then he told him, pick it up by the tail. Moses said, wait a minute. But when he touched that tail, it straightened back out again. Then he took him another step. He said, now take your hand and put it in your bosom. Pull it out. Pulled it out, and it was leprous. Moses. Whoa! And he said, put it back in there. Put it back in there. Pull it out! And it was whole. Alright. Now here’s Moses being taught miracles. Why? Because he’s going to have to go down and face Farrell. And here’s Farrell. The last time Moses was in Egypt, he had a wanted poster with his face on it.

Now I’m putting it in today’s context. So when he went back down there, he better go back down there with something. And so he goes back down there and he tells Pharaoh something that is insulting. Let my people go. Pharaoh said what? Moses. Pharaoh said, show me a miracle. God already warned him. When he told you to do that. Throw that rod down. Boom! He threw that rod down. Turned into a serpent once he turned into a serpent. Now Pharaoh calls his boys. These are the sorcerer’s magic. Not miracles. Miracles are the supernatural act of God. So he says, come on in here and show him what you can do. They were on the payroll, and so they came in there, threw down their rods. They turned into serpents. And then Moses, his rod or serpent, ate up their serpent and then turned back into the rod.

Now, what was that miracle? It was a picture of Jesus on the cross. The Bible says he became sin. That means he ate up all the sin. Watch this. And went and paid the price in hell, and came back up and had turned into the rod again. And I’m just saying, I’m just saying This Bible is full of miracles. So here is Jesus. Moses being taught by God, teaching them miracles, and Moses also in Exodus chapter 14, verse 16. Here is Moses. Pharaoh’s after them, because now they got all the money and they’re about to leave Egypt. Pharaoh said, let’s get them, boys. And he went after him. And here’s Moses in Exodus chapter 14. Stretch out your staff. And he stretched it out, and the Red sea parted. Are you with me here?

The Red sea parted, and when it parted, Pharaoh tried to come through it. And what happened to Pharaoh? Y’all know that song, don’t you? Pharaoh’s army got I drown? See, what I’m saying is, we’ve seen all of this, but we didn’t take it as a lifestyle that God planned for the church. So let’s keep going. So Jesus taught miracles. He taught them miracles. He had in Matthew chapter 15, verses 29 through 31. They brought Jesus people who were blind and who were diseased and maimed and all of that, and threw him out of Jesus’s feet. And what did he do with him? He healed him. How many? All of them. He healed all of them. Why? Because with miracles, there is no limit.

Now you got to get that. Because that that is a revelation right there. Are you hear what I’m saying? So. He, Jesus and this miracle worker of Jesus or as, as Jesus and Jesus now is sending them out to actually work miracles because he’s been teaching it. See, they just didn’t come in church and sit up in here and sing some songs and oh, didn’t pastor preach nice today? No. They had to be accountable for what they heard. And so what happened is he sent him out, and Mark and Matthew chapter ten and verse uh, seven and eight and nine, but they went out. He said, now take no scrip. That’s money. Take no change of clothes. Let’s see right there. You’re trying to figure out, okay, they’re going to have the same underwear on and so forth.

See you’re trying to apply something to it, but while you’re asleep, God can clean you as a laundry would clean you as fuller’s soap. Now, don’t try that unless you have some faith in the miracle. Because we don’t want to. Okay. So? So here he is. And now they are working miracles. And he said, I want you to heal the sick. Cleanse the leper. Help me. Jesus said that as if that was nothing. He said that along with heal the sick, cleanse the leper. Then he said, raise the dead. And I’m saying for you, we hadn’t been taught this. So the tree is not in there for it. The qualifier is faith. How can they hear without a who? Preacher? And how shall he preach except he be? What? Sin. So then faith cometh. Why? Because you need faith to do miracles. Amen. Amen.

So what happens next? Here it is. And he’s working miracles. Teaching them. And now they come back. And they said over in Luke chapter ten, they said, Lord, even the devils are subject to us through thy name. Isn’t that powerful? All right. Now, like I said, the enemy doesn’t want you to learn miracles because miracles don’t take any time. In fact, if you got a miracle working, then miracle will stop time until the miracle is complete. And that’s the revelation of Joshua stopping the sun until the battle is won. It’ll stop everything. Stop the foreclosure. Stop everything until the thing’s done. Do you all believe what I’m saying here? All right. Can we go further?

So let’s look at miracles in the Bible, because the Bible is a miracle book. Say that with me. The Bible is a miracle book. Let’s go over to numbers chapter 17 and verse eight. Here is Moses selecting a leader. He’s selecting a leader in terms of the priesthood, and all these leaders are vying to be selected. Moses said, each tribal leader, give me your staff and we’ll put it in the tabernacle of witness. Say tabernacle of witness. That’s where the presence of God is. The presence of God is in that tabernacle.

So what does he do? He takes all the sticks, put them in the tabernacle, comes back the next morning. The rod of Aaron has budded. Not only did it, bud, it had branches on it. It had leaves and had blossoms on it and had almonds. That’s called fruit. No, this stick was never stuck in the ground. This stick never had the sunlight that a plant needs to grow. This stick never got any water. But God took a stick. And put fruit on it. Now you stay with me because I’m making you miracle minded.

So what happens next is a comparison to that is Genesis chapter 26, verses one through three. He tells Isaac because there’s a famine in the land. And he says, Isaac, don’t go down to Egypt. Dwell in the land that I will show you, and I will be with you. That’s all you want to know is God with me. And so then he tells him a few more things. And over in Genesis now he I told them, don’t go down to Egypt because that’s what Abraham did. If you recall, Abraham left his kindred and his kind left the tribe and and followed God, not knowing where he was going, but he ended up seeing the land that God directed him to. And it was dry.

So he went on down to where Egypt went on, down to Egypt. Well, he got in there and and then all of a sudden they saw his wife and, and they, you know, told Pharaoh. And Pharaoh said, well, bring me that woman and so forth. And he went through all of that, and he got blessed. But he wasn’t supposed to go down there. He had to come up and down there. So now chapter 26 and verse 12, And Isaac sowed in that land what land? The land where there was no rain? No, I can tell how you’re receiving this, that you are saying. No, it’s not hitting you right yet. You. Isaac didn’t need water. Do you hear what I’m saying?

You see You. You think? You need a raise. But God knows that that enemy is after you being miracle minded. He’s after it. He’s trying to keep you where he had Gideon and had Israel, and they were in bondage to a system that they were stealing from them and keeping them broke. And so what happened is he sowed in that land and received a hundredfold the same year. And the Lord blessed him. So just just understand, you can sow in a field that there’s no rain. God doesn’t need rain. God needs a believer. Do you hear what I’m telling you?

See, we thought again that this miracle working is an option, but it’s not. Most of God’s people right now need a miracle. If you’re lying, you. Most of God’s people right now need a miracle. You need. You need some miracle grow on your hair. You you need. Come on. I can go right down. Most of God’s people right now need a miracle. Now, I ain’t talking about you getting mad. That’s your business. But see, that’s not uncommon for her to come to me and say, hey, you know. Wow.

Um, you know, uh, pastor, I need you to pray for me because, you know, at foreclosed on my house, I’m supposed to go to court and make transfer on this week and so forth. And I said, well, what do you need? I just preach on it. What do you need? You need a miracle. There ain’t nothing wrong with that. Because the enemy got a system out here that he can back you against the wall. And you don’t hardly know how you got there. The only thing you know you can’t save no money. Come on. You. Your car note is due. Come on. Your children running crazy and so forth and so on. But I’m telling you, miracles are about to happen to you. This is it. I said this is it. It’s time for miracles. Well, praise the Lord.
