Bill Johnson - The God Who Moved Will Move Again
I'm sure this has happened to you, where you're in a situation and you can't see any farther than the hand in front of you. You don't remember anything that God has ever done in your life, and that's when the spirit of foolishness has had real influence over our thinking. For moments, I find myself thinking, "Well, I don't really remember anything significant." Yet when I finally get out of fear mode and start dwelling on the activity of God in my life, I find it crazy that I could actually have that passing thought that God has not been active in my life. I become overwhelmed with the revelation of His goodness just by reviewing the testimony. It's actually a part of God's economy. I don't think it would be hard to prove that all of Israel's backslidings—their times of going into idolatry and gross immorality—all these things that happened during the low peaks of their life as a nation began when they stopped keeping the testimony, when they stopped reviewing the supernatural activities of God in their lives.
