In the Broadway musical “Fiddler on the Roof” the main character turns to his wife and he asks her, “Do you love me?” And she says, “I clean your clothes. I clean your house. I cook your food.
Do I love you? Of course I love you.” We need to hear, don’t we, that we are loved, not just the actions but the words. And this is what Christmas is all about. It is all about God saying to the world, “I love you. Listen to My Christmas story.”
